As we have been announcing for the last year and after postponing it several times, we are finally ending support for PHP 5.x version on all of our Premium cPanel Shared Hosting servers.

On November 1, the PHP 5.x version will not be available. If you have any older programs using this version that are no longer supported, you will need to upgrade/migrate your program to a supported version of a newer version of PHP, before November 1st.

Keep in mind that if you are using a program with this version of PHP, it will most likely not work after November 1st. It is the responsibility of each user to update and maintain the programs installed in each web hosting account. We do not correct code or compatibility problems in the programs.

It is our duty to keep the software installed on our servers updated with the latest and safest versions.

If you are using a popular and/or open source program such as Wordpress, Joomla, etc. The most current versions of these programs already have support for the latest versions of PHP such as 7.2, 7.3 or 7.4.

Remember that you can change the version of PHP that runs in your web hosting account with a simple click from your cPanel, you can see the steps in:

Thank you very much!
